About Kerry Beazley
As a lifelong doodler, I am known for expressing my joy in an explosion of colour and fine detail. My portfolio includes a mixed bag of raster and vector illustrations / surface pattern designs for licensing. I work across many art mediums but never happier than with a fine-liner pen in hand , some watery colour and a crisp sheet of white paper. I also puddle along making watery, inky food illustrations and my spot illustrations were published for "Eat Well, Be Well", a book by Matthew Simpson about eating for wellness.
A career in clothing production as a designer and pattern maker fuelled a love of textiles and an addiction to illustration. I have a tertiary qualification in teaching adult learners and experience teaching TAFE classes in clothing pattern making & CAD. I currently teach how to make Doodle Stories on Skillshare and in-person workshops for kids and adults. Illustrating children's themes for wall art and bed linens is also my jam and one day I'd like to illustrate a children's book.
